It was a drizzly day at Cliff Cave Park in St.Louis County, and the painting group I expected to see had cancelled. Luckily, one of the members arrived and showed me around. We walked up to the cave which wasn't terribly appealing, but on the way down a bit of sunlight sparkled on these rocks. In less than an hour the results turned out to be one of my better palette knife efforts.
